Just checking in to let you know that we're still alive. :)
We're even kicking a bit.
We are in Washington for the time being. We've been able to talk at our sending church, HCC, and share with friends and family what's been going on with us and in Oaxaca. It's been awesome to see everyone again and reconnect. I missed a meet up in the Seattle area due to catching a nasty cold (????? - in JULY?????) but we're all on the mend and we took a raincheck....no pun intended.
I'll tell you - we're not used to the race pace anymore. Or the time it takes to get from one place to another. Oooops - and driving? Well - let's just say we're having some conversations w/ our kids about why we're actually coming to a complete stop, not going around people who have a blinker on, why we're NOT tailgating, and why we don't hear any horns. Apparently you learn to drive by watching and riding as well as actually operating the car. Good thing we have a few years before Riley will be going into that department.
We're also getting ready to move into the parsonage later this week. Our church has a house that is available for us to use the rest of the summer and that will be fun.
God is providing....in lots of ways. More to come on that in a future post.

Our Purpose
- to know God and use our entire lives in service to Him.
- to stand in the gap through prayer, giving and service to viable ministries in Latin America.
- to be transparent helpers of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, using our resources and skills that through the Holy Spirit, we might encourage and equip those who have less.
- to share a living perspective from Latin America to our churches, friends and family in the states and beyond.
